Description
The Gleichweit-B8 is a medium open Bb clarinet mouthpiece for French-style cane and synthetic reeds – designed for slightly more advanced players. With a facing length of 21 mm and a tip opening of 1.19 mm, it delivers the perfect balance between a dark, rich, yet compact sound.
The sound is very warm and flexible, which is especially important for blending well with other instruments in chamber music and orchestral contexts. The intonation is extremely stable, and I can effortlessly produce a wide variety of articulations. I never feel the need to force the air – the mouthpiece feels very natural and easy to play. I can only warmly recommend this product!
