Gleichweit Clarinet Barrels were developed as a product of two clarinet players, Johannes Gleichweit (German-Vienna clarinet) and Emir Radisevic (French clarinet). Based on different concepts, materials and many different shapes for both clarinet systems, we have tested the barrels in various concert halls, during rehearsals, recordings and concerts.
The elegance of the body without silver rings and the special rubber give you the opportunity for a very warm, focused sound with great sound projection and easy articulation.
Our barrels fit most clarinet brands with standard tenon diameters. Exceptions are made for instruments with non-standard tenon diameters. If you are unsure about the compatibility of your clarinets or need a special length for your clarinet, please feel free to contact us via our contact forms.
