The instrument is soaked in oil, new corks, felts, and pads are fitted (the choice of pad material can be discussed), the mechanics are oiled and polished, springs are adjusted and their tension set. Finally, we carry out a thorough check of the entire instrument’s airtightness. After this comprehensive overhaul, your clarinet will be fully ready for many years of playing.

Of course, not every situation requires a full overhaul — we are equally happy to help with smaller partial repairs.

Fine-tuning: We love working closely with your instrument: a general inspection and careful assessment of its condition, intonation corrections, and improvements to sound quality, register balance, and even airflow response. We also address specific problem notes, aiming for a free, unobstructed playing feel throughout. Costs are calculated according to the work involved.
